Dear Customer,

The volume of paper mail has decreased by approximately 75 percent over the past ten years due to digital communications. Last year, the number of addressed letters declined by 18 percent.

Digitalization has been accelerated by the digitalization projects of the private sector and, in particular, the state and the rest of the public sector. As a result, the volume of paper mail is decreasing at an increasing pace, which is significantly increasing unit costs. In addition, Posti’s deliveries are increasingly shifting to rural areas, where the cost level is higher.

Due to the rise in costs, we will increase the list prices of Postal Services by an average of 10 percent starting from April 1, 2026. The prices will be valid until further notice.

Customer-specific changes and the prices of individual services may differ from the above-mentioned list price change. You can find the new prices at posti.fi/prices-business. In this notification, we will also inform you of the changes in our services later this year.

Domestic and international letters
General increase of +10%: Public notification, valuable items, laboratory items, reply mail items, some additional services and additional charges

Exceptions to the general increase:

• Pre-paid Envelopes and letters stamped with a franking machine +12%

• International Priority and Economy letters +12%

• The prices of domestic Priority and Economy Letters and standard letters will not increase

Magazines and newspapers
General increase of +10%: Posti Publication, Daytime Publication Delivery, Terminal Shuttle, additional services, additional charges, service fees and cancellation fees

Exceptions to the general increase:

• The pricing model of Magazine Pro and Economy Publication services will be renewed, and regional pricing will be introduced on April 1, 2026

  • The price list will be simplified: weight thresholds will be eliminated, and the amount of batch size thresholds will be reduced.

  • Price areas A, B and C

  • In the future, the maximum weight of an individual Economy Publication item is 350 g

• The prices of Long-Distance Publication Delivery will not increase

• The prices of Printed Matter Transports will not increase

• The price change does not apply to newspapers in early-morning delivery

Direct advertising and marketing data services
General increase of +10%: Target Group Services, VTJ Update Services, Information Service, Advertising on the change of address notification form, Terminal Shuttle, additional services and additional charges

Exceptions to the general increase:

• The prices of OTS Update Services and Verification Service will not increase

• The price list for machine-sortable and manually sortable Customer Direct will be renewed, and batch size and weight thresholds will change

Advance information on the upcoming changes:

1. The prices of OTS Update Services and Verification Service will change on May 1, 2026. We will provide you with more details about the change in March.
2. The format of Customer Direct will change on June 1, 2026. Unenclosed, multi-page items may not be sent through Customer Direct. These include, for example, catalogs or customer magazines. You can use the Economy Publication or Publication service for mailing.

Mail receiving and redirection services
General increase of +10%: Posti P.O. Box, Corporate Address and Corporate Postal Code and their Additional services, Corporate Mail Premium, mail redirection services

Exceptions to the general increase:

• The prices of the Corporate Mail Premium service for existing contract customers will not increase
• The prices of the Nearby Mailbox service will not increase
